Wills

Over 70% of the UK population does not have a current Will that accurately reflects their wishes on death.

There are a variety of reasons for this, to include:-

• Changes in personal circumstances since the making of an earlier Will
• The belief that they will one day get around to making a Will (and they often don’t)
• A badly drafted earlier Will

If you are one of these people it makes sense to consider making a proper Will at this time. This will give you peace of mind and it may look after your loved ones when you pass on. In the greater scheme of things, it is not expensive to make a Will. We are of the view that this is one area of the Law where real value for money can be obtained. We are experts at drawing up Wills and are confident that if you instruct us you will be happy with the result.

Probate

We are happy to be appointed the Executors / Trustees in any Will. We recognise that a client may wish to appoint his or her family or friends to perform this function. We are there to help in either scenario. We deal with Probate matters in a sensitive and caring way. We have considerable experience in dealing with these matters and strive to apply to the Probate registry at the earliest opportunity for a grant to enable us to gather in the assets, pay the debts and distribute the estate in accordance with the Will.
